Hello! Welcome to Life Pursued. My name is Dean Jones and I started this site after going through a lay off. Before getting laid off, I had everything, a nice spacious apartment, and great people to share my life with. I was going on really incredible international trips and had much more planned. Then, on valentines day I got that dreaded call in the morning that there would be a restructuring with my role being affected. With my lease almost up, I made the choice to move back in with family for a little bit, a ding to the ego when you are in your late twenties.

Nonetheless, I got my life back on track. When you have everything you could ever want in life and then lose it all, what is important really becomes more clear. Throughout this period in my life, I became obsessed with living a more fulfilling and meaningful life. I found that there are so many little things that make up a fulfilling life, some big and some small and everything in between. The thing is, it is very different for everyone. Health, wellness, career, relationships, travel, hobbies, these are an example of what can make life much more incredible.
